EarthRace?
Hey a while ago this boat was in my local harbour, I went down to see it for myself, needless to say I fell inlove with the design. I was wondering if it'd be a good idea to build a scale model of EarthRace and if so what scale? I was thinking using twin 25 HP inboard diesels as a powerplant.
ALSO here are some info pages for the boat ^^ [link=http://www.earthrace.net/view.asp?webpage=146]Specifications[/link] [link=http://www.earthrace.net/]Homepage[/link] [link=http://assets.earthrace.net/005.PDF]Tech PDF[/link]
I'd love to hear comments and ideas on this.

RE: EarthRace?
It's down in Tampa, Florida right now.
The boat would be better suited as something a lot smaller for R/C use as for one thing, it would be a lot easier to transport. Something like brushless motor power would be the way to go to help keep the scale appearnace. Something in the 30-40 inch range would be plenty large enough.

RE: EarthRace?
I could always hide the engines like you would on a normal boat, this this is gonna be pretty big if I use the 25's... maybe I could go with something smaller...
