Shaft wabbal
I put 2 new 3/16" x 16" shafts into two new stuffing tubes from Dumas that Ihad just installed in my Crockett and noticed one of them fit very tight and would not spin, I though it was the stuffing box so I reamed the bearings out some, opon futher inspection I found the shaft was bent one shafts end wabbaled about 3/32" and the other about 1/32" in either stuffing tube.
Questian, what is acceptal, I now also need to know whear to buy replacement bearings for the stuffing tubes, thanks, Randy.

Randy,
And the one thing you won't have to worry about too much, anymore, is making the same mistake! No suggestions about where to find replacements but I'm sure you can.

I buy bronze bearings from 2 places. Now I make my own from bronze bearings and thick walled tube.
