ID tug boat model
New person on board so hope to get this info to you builders. I bought a party finished kit a few years ago and would like to finish but don't know what it should look like. It has a fiberglass hull and is about 40 inches long and has some rc components already installed. This is my second try to post so hope the first one doesn't also come up. Will post some pics any info appreciated. Thanks Patrick

Thanks for the quick id, after looking at the ship I'm sure you are right. How can I order some pics and parts to finish model? I tried Artesania Latina site and can't find any info on this model .

Patrick,
Yep, it's at least partially an 'Amsterdam'. No idea why 'Artesania Latina' couldn't find the instructions for the 'Amsterdam', they made hundreds of them. You might take a look for a 'build' on one of the forums, bound to be several of those.

Check out these posts on the Amserdam. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_1896327/tm.htm
The Amsterdam was discontinued about a year ago or so. I remember Model Expo was clearing them out for $99. Is yours one of the older style planked hulls or is it GRP.
It's a keeper.

RE: ID tug boat model
Thanks for the offer to copy plans, let me know the cost and I will send you the money. I'm ahead of my self here but read something on a post about changing rudders, the kit one needs to be upgraded? I also saw on site great pics of a build and it shows the box of hardware that comes with kit, and it looks like a overwhelming task to duplicate, so may have to build a mod version. Thank for help Patrick

HI: I see on one of the other posts you are talking about a becker rudder on the Amsterdam, can you tell me what that is? I'm a ways from putting in the water but still curious about the rudder and the prop also was some conversation about a thruster. Thanks Patrick
