Rc heli carrier capable of landing rc helis
Hi all
I was just thinking if you got a meter or so long aircraft carrier and converted to a heli carrier so that you could land cheap rc mini helicopters on and take off again i think this would be quite easy not mentioning looking ace
Any ideas
Thanks
Jonjoe

I have landed the Pico Z on m 1/144 USS CONSTELLATION. It is a bit out of scale, but takes some skill. Unfortunately the Pico Z is dead now. no no more "trials"

Ermm no... your going to need at least a 1/16 scale helicopter for it to be steady enough to fly and land on a spot out doors on the lake, with any degree of repeatablity. I haven't done the math yet on how large your carrier would need to be...

Talk to Moozie41... He is on your side of the pond.
He might let you practice landing your helicopter on his HMS Invincible.

Man I love the big models. I've started a couple myself but sold 'em both before I could finish (ran out of $ and space).
I think this one may have been made using Midwest plans blown up for a really big boat. I heard the lake patrol had them take if off the lake once because it didn't have all the USCG required safety equipment aboard .
