I'm building a Dumas Little Shelly Foss tug, and need some pics of both port and starboard side of the actual tug to lay out port holes, doors, etc. I did google search, but did not find much. Can anyone help me out?

i converted my shelly to a tug that looks like the tugs but i left the original bridge just changed the color and the stack

Thanks, Umi. I'd seen some of those, guess I'll have to make some contacts for additional pics from press, maybe from Foss directly. Here's some pics of my build. Funny, the brass gears are the same exact ones I remember my dad using in a Donzi kit back in the 60's when I was just a kid. Dumas hasn't changed much over the years.

make sure when you get it running you use a light battery i used to use 4.5 amp hr 12 volt gel cell thing almost was planing really low in the stern too now i run a 7.2 stick pack much better can still pull my 21ft grady white

Merc, I've got the Dumas 6 volt pitts motor, so I was planning on running a 5 cell hump pack NiCd. Should be about the right size/wt. This is the 24" model, so there isn't room for much bigger.

Im in the process of building a 36" Shelly Foss . Ive looked all over the net for about a year and finally found this site with all kinds of tug pictures. Try it, I dont think you will be disappointed www.davidwike.com. Let me know if you have any problems with site. Hope this helps.
