Not sure if these are what you're looking for, but it's what I've got, including a pic of the model I made. The others are from the motion picture. I think the black an dwhite is one of the original boat. Good luck

Here's some guys who seem to know some info about the final resting place of the ORCA.

also check out the chineese link in the thread. A pretty detailed model with a mini modle inside.
Cheers!

It is interesting that you ask about the ORCA. I am also building an ORCA.
I have a little different take on it than others. Since I don't want to build the ship as it appeared in the films, I am building a version of how I believe that boat would havelooked new.
Ihave seen many pictures of the boat from the movies and apparently the movie maker made changes from scene to scene.
I will include of picture of the model in the near future.
I would be intersted in communcating with you further about it.

I am also building the ORCA from Jaws. I researched it before I began and then relized that there are multiple versionsshown in the movie.
If it is any consolation to you, you are not crazy. I recall seeing the picture you are referring to, I don't remember where. It is not one that was posted in this thread. It must have been take shortly after filming was concluded. When I saw it I realized, of course, the transom is missing, it was destroyed by the shark when he " ate up Quinn".
