Unluckily, firecrackers & rockets are tightly controlled by law in Canada & I think it is the same boat in USA. In Europe it is different story & that Youtube video is from from Europe.

Dead, now resurrected post (because of interest)...
What kind of motors did you use and the props are definitely different in your application. The kit props have a different if odd shape to them, like they were intended to be "speed props" but instead they look like the elongated, pointed trailing edge blades of an oscillating desk fan...

The motors are 1.5-3V $2 Mini-motors bought from surplus store. Propellers are home-made. Here shows how to make them ...

I was going to deny your claim that your video showed how to make the props but the method showed up around 3:50 and showed the finished product at about 5:33. Apparently small model rc conversion (of all types) seems to be your passion.
Sheet brass props soldered to brass shafts. Nice. I'll have to see if I can source those motors, this model is small!
