Dumas 36'' SK Daddle
Remember these boats. Its a nitro kit that has been around a long time. I decided to build one and convert it to electric. I have had the kit for a while, I just needed a new project to do. I made 2 waterhatches to seal the electrics. The motor hatch I glassed in a fiberglass dometo clear the gear drive I made for the Graumper 700motoron 12 cells Iwanted to use. The hardware kit had a solid shaft but I installed a flex cable and stuffing tube for more adjustability. The rudder was under the boat, I moved it to the transon, it just looks better, and added trim tabs. As you would guess being a flat bottom, it rides like a crackerbox. With a little adjusting, you can change how it rides, or how it hops. I have only run it a few times, mostly as a retrieval boat. I have built mono`s, hydro`s and several other Dumas kits. IJust wanted to build something a little different this time.
