Default RC submarines by Funworks

Hi:

Hey anyone else having problems with the RC submarines USS Seawolf and USS Dallas by Funworks. Ibought them from Bananahobby.com.

The problem is now when i try to engage the surface or dive motors on both subs by pressing the corresponding buttons on the controller, these motors will not respond. When i received them everything was working ok, all 3 motors in each sub was working. I even tried them out in my 120 gallon tank to set up the buoancy and everything worked fine.

Now a week and a half later, i cant get either sub to respond to dive or surface, yet the forward and reverse and side to side motors work very well.

Havent touched anything, other than recharge the rechargable batteries in the subs themselves, and i checked with a volt meter i have, the 9 vold battery in the remorte, shows about 8.7 volts, i would think this is more than enough to run the motors.

I have checked everything over, cant find anything.

Any ideas??

Could be defective motors yet then did run for awhile while i was testing them out in my tank.

I cant figure this out.

Doesen't make any sense, that they were working ok a week ago, and now those motors and on both subs wont work.

Looking for some ideas.

Regards Andy.
