Warheads
To make a torpideo warhead, you need a spark. That's the hardest part.
If you use a tight wound spring, and have a wire contact on it connacted to the movable nosecap
and you have an electrical current flowing through it and the cap is pressed down, Then it will create a
spark and in the cap you need explosive fumes (like gas). Then It will Ignite and If you have
a primary warhead it will Ignite and blow the enemy ship to pieces.
P.S. To all minors (18-) DO NOT try this without adult supervision or you may just blow your
hand off, believe me, This is HAZARDOUS stuff!

RE: Warheads
Neato!
I'm curious could one use of those electric barbecue starters could be used? My new barbeque has a AA battery in it and requires very little force.
And what do you use as the explosive compound? Does it actually explode to sink a boat or is just make a cloud of smoke?
Thanks!
P.S. The reason I ask is in the club I'm starting, I'm trying to make a more creative atmosphere to attract kids and hopefully keep them away from other influences. Kids like things that go bang, and yes adult supervision is important! I have already found some local sponsors and a someone who is willing for us to use his duck pond located on private property.

RE: Warheads
This system will work. the explosion depends on the gas or powder your using.
I can draw up some plans if you like with your gas starter in them.
To sink ships all you need is BOOM!
But BE CAREFUL! the device is highly unstable and could blow.
I wouldn't want you to blow your hand off. I'll Include all the detaild in the plans.
you can find the pland in my information box in images.

With about $300 worth of radio equipment in my sub, I'd think TWICE about putting something even remotely like this in my boat. How do you know that it will work? Before making such claims, build a boat and try it for once. If you have pictures and videos of your build at work, only then I will believe that this is feasible. (diagrams won't work. On paper, anything seems possible.)
Plus, why would I want to blow someone else's boat to pieces after all the hard work and money that they've put into it? Put yourself in their place, building a boat is not an easy task you know.

RE: Warheads
Believe me I KNOW!!!
It is HARD, But the fun of knowing that your boat is at risk and
having a torpideo heading toward the "enemy" makes it fun.
P.S. DO NOT attack escorts they are FAR to heavily armed for the standard U-Boat.
