RE: I just got a pool,and wanted a toy,what submarine?
Thnx!
The pool is 4' deep, and it will dive all the way to the bottom and drive down there.
The range seems to be pretty decent,I would say about 15' away and when its all the way down it then will glitch and stuff, but it has no problem on the surface with control range.
All and all its no a bad sub at all for 20 bux

Well the rechargable batteries worked well,,but the only thing is they were too heavy and made the back of the of the sub sink
This thing reminds me of the tilt-rotor Osprey, but underwater![8D]

>It would probably not take much.
You can find out just what volume of foam you'll need by floating a sub with the foam propped under it--the foam doesn't have to be inside. You can maintain the foam's position with your hand just long enough to see what level it floats the sub to.

Yeah it took me a long time to find the right lawn mower to jump into my pool off a 16 foot wood jump. When i landed and sank to the bottom it stalled right away. Now is where i need ur help. The thing wont start. What is wrong with it? Did i do something bad with it. Have any of you ever broke ur lawn mower by jumping it into a pool? Well help is appreciated.

Umm im thinking two things. First you could have flooded the engine or there is something wrong with the spark plug. Also remember a gas engine needs air to combust. So water+gas+spark = no go.
Kinda funny you would do that did you get a vid?

I'm surprised to hear your Wal-Mart doesn't stock these subs. They're not that hard to find--maybe try the next-nearest Wal-Mart, or Wal-Mart superstore?
well, im in AK and i live on the peninsula, and the wallmart nin anchorage doesnt have them

Come to think of it, these subs start disappearing sometime in summer each year, Wal-Mart quits stocking them. They tend to end up in the clearance section. My wife did find a Wally sub in the clearance section as late as December--after she'd scoured every Wal-Mart in our area, and found it-- one sub--at the last store in her search.
