Default disconneecting prop shaft

on my kilo, when i take the WTC out, how do I make the prop shaft disconnectalbe?

Hard mount the shaft to the boat using a bearing and support then use a dogbone connection between the hard mounted shaft and the WTC. I just started a thread on the Kilo aswell if you want to follow along you will figure it all out.

The kit will be here in the spring(its winter here.). my allowance and jobs around the community will give me just enough money for it.

when you say kit do you mean the model kit or the fittings kit?

I mean the WTC from dave Welch. I cant wait to see it run. All I can do now is daydream about it.

well his wtc will more then likely use a dumas dogbone at the end of the shaft output from the wtc. This can be an easy place for the break in the shaft.

Nuke Mechanic has posted pics on the Subcommittee forum about his build. As someone who has posted progress online before, I know how difficult it can be managing threads and posting build pictures on multiple forums.
