radioshack mako mini sub
hello,
I just recently bought a mako mini sub from radioshack. I was wondering if there was anyway to increase the range. I can get it to dive to about six feet, but the antenna from the radio has to be in the water and I have to be right above the sub. actually thats how it has to be even in two feet of water. I use rechargable NIMH batteries for the sub. Is this good enough? could it be the crappy no name brand 9V that I use in the radio?

RE: radioshack mako mini sub
I would suggest changing the antenne on the transmitter. Take a look at the walmart sub thread and consider a similar type of change to increase the distance. I bought one of the subs for my brother and they are alot of fun....and fast.
