Robbe U47 help
Hi I just got the kit and I am having some trouble with the plans and instructions for the WTC and the tray that goes inside of it
if possible can anyone take a bunch of photo's of the tray itself and and the join area so i can see what gets mounted where so I dont make a mistake
also there is a mod for the connector that holds the sub together I have read mntion of it but have not seen the actual mod
any help would be greatly appreciated

RE: Robbe U47 help
Dark,
I believe the "mod" you are talking about is a bayonet conversion. I put one on my U-47 (in my gallery) and I really like it. It is much like the Engel Lafayette ring. It is aluminum CNC machined and watertight. As for pictures of the build process try this: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=415435

RE: Robbe U47 help
i have been using that thread alot to glean info but its missing a few side shots i need
im needing a few photo's of the rear of the WTC where the prop shafts go through and how its all connected to the tray and a few shots of the front of the WTC showing the track set up
plus a side shot showing where parts 1.14 attach to the side plates
I have seen your metal locking ring mod but its not the one im refering too altho it looks perfect and i would love to get one however my wife is already miffed at me for buying a new 10mm drillbit :P
basically the stock connector for the WTC fails and the sub breaks open letting water in you do something to the stock connector and it prevents this from failing
thank you for your reply

RE: Robbe U47 help
I soldered a brass strap across the tube and then epoxied that to the tray.
So far it is holding. email me at [email protected] for photos
