I found a PDF file for a 1:72 scale
do a google search for 'U-boat type VII C 1-72 scale paper model PDF'
I printed this out on A4 and blown it up by 141% to A3 and I'm hopeing it'll be about1.5M long.
substitute paper and card for balsa and you have a nice looking sub, I have the figure out some mod's for the internal ribbing as it won't have designated WTC for the gubbins.
