FPV Thunder Tiger Sub
I see no posts since last year but wonder if you folks are still working on these. I have just completed pool testing on my sub with FPV via umbilical. On the surface is a little toy MegaBlock boat - on a Skidoo board for stability - which carries the FrSky receiver, video transmitter and antenna and strobes for boat traffic visibility. Signals to and from the sub are carried in Cat 6 cable threaded through hollow yellow propylene for strength to pull if necessary. The commands to the sub are via S-Bus to a decoder. 15 meters is the test length. I am looking forward to a quarry test before heading for the lake.
I'd be interested in your results to date.

I took some pics at the lake with my cell phone and they are crap. I will post anyway. I am doing a tear-down now for water leaks. There was a little, not much but concerning in the tube. It appears that the stuffing box has not been refreshed in some time - maybe never so I picked up some marine grease and filled tonight. I will shoot some pics of it torn down so you can see the decoder in place of the receiver and the umbilical connection.
