Tank Sounds
Being new here I hope this isn't a stupid question. I have listened to some great engine sounds here on the forum, but what i do not hear is clanking and squeeking of the tracks. Does anyone have this or do I have to go with metal tracks to hear this.

RE: Tank Sounds
The heng long boards, even the newer rx-18 only have a limited sound and that is just the normal engine, main gun and machine gun, start up and shut down. In order to get the sound you are asking about you have a few aftermarket choices, Tamiya, Elmod, the new SLU and also Dan (YHR) is working on a system that is just a add-on sound for the heng longs, he could elaborate on that better then me though (since it is his system) lol.

RE: Tank Sounds
My Leopard has the best squeaks going, and they are all natural!!!!!!. I turned the EL MOD squeaks off, and just let the tank do its thing. Al those squeaks you are hearing are naturally made.

Listen to the Sherman in this video, with EL MOD you can add more chain sound or take it out all together, easy to do if you have the configurator. You can also lower or raise the engine idle sound and of course make many other standard changes.
