Panther G:

Got a set of 5 'hole saws' w/ 8mm diameter meant for tile and glass... did the trick, though when assembled a few of the pairs wobble a bit. I could probably straighten 'em out by a bit more MEK, and tweaking the alignment of the halves, but its not worth it now.

As for drills, I picked up two sets of bits, #60 to #80, $5 a pop at Princess Auto. Now I just need to get a decent jewelers drill to grip 'em. Princess has one, but I'm gonna wait until it goes on sale.

Now I've gotta figure out how to get the T55's gearbox output shafts to line up with the roller bearings in the output casings. May have to either widen the bolt-down holes to allow for a bit of adjustment, or try to swap bits out between the two new gearboxes and the two old ones. May also have to shim the things up off the chassis floor too.

Question for T55 builders: in Step 12, where it shows that you bolt the TE3 sprocket shaft/axle to the TC2/TC3 sprocket, and then in Step 13, it seems to show you put ~another~ collar (with no part #) on the TE3 shaft between the roller bearing & the gearbox, do you line up the setscrews, or run 'em at an angle, so the outer collar prevents the inner setscrews from backing out? I ask as I can only get one set of holes on ~both~ to thread cleanly, the other binds up.

Going to be cleaning out ditches and re-doing my back driveway before winter sets in.Allways work of some kind when you live in the country.

I found these critters at the local ranch supply store in the kids toy section. They were $0.69 each, they are rubbery and pre-painted, I think they are a nice addition to my tankers stuff.

I was looking for a sheep for this guy, but a pig will have to do. The puppy is cute, I couldn't pass it up.

I made a roast today with all the trimmings too, just in time before all those NFL games. Was going to get in a little painting today but the calling for a paint booth is getting more and more needed now. Especially when you have just a few small detail parts to get done, moving the cars and setting up is just not worth it.

Any white spots you see on the mask isnt a glare. Its puck hits... wiping the paint off.
