Default Futaba Radio Question

I have a Futaba 2.4 ghz radio for my tamiya Pershing.
For an antenna, it only has a short 1 inch nubbin'.
I see there are MANY aftermarket antennas out there.
Do I need a longer/retractable antenna?

No. I use Futaba 8 and 9 channel 2.4ghz systems which work great. If one has been used to the 75Mhz
type with the long antennas they required the 2.4Ghz radios are disconcerting at first but no worries.
