Default 1/15 Hummel build finished

I just finished one of my builds. Bandai 1/15 Hummel with Kenny Kong metal tracks, sprockets, idlers, and brass upgrade gears. I built a speaker box and battery box from styrene sheet. Two 4-ohm speakers wired in series were salvaged from a set of computer speakers. HL RX-18 with 4800 MAH battery, charging jack, and switch. I lowered the 2 rear return rollers to there correct position so that the tracks would be at the correct angle. Paint & weathering was done using an airbrush with Tamiya Paints. Tow cable is picture hanging wire.

Regards,

Great looking Hummel. I was thinking of kit bashing one from an old HL PZIV, but not sure if I could pull off the gun scratch building.

Awesome tank! You did a great job. I want it. There is a hobby shop out by me and he has this kit sitting on a shelf for years. I have been kicking the purchase around in my head for about 1 year now. After seeing the master piece you have built I may finally purchase the kit. I like how you uesd HL parts.
Nice job.

Don't kick the idea around too long. These Bandai kits are disappearing fast and even though it is 1/15 scale (and much larger than the 1/16 tanks) I don't think anyone will making a Hummel anytime soon.

I have a StuG IV and Tiger I kit and other than the plastic being a bit brittle they are a quality build.

Heck, I too am looking for a good price on one myself!
