Thanks Hal, you pretty much told me what Iwanted to know. They've got to be comign to the US market soon, I'd imagine. One more question, though-are there metal idlers and sprockets available? Or a metal upgrade track set that includes them? Thanks!

I'm still waiting for the tracks with duck bill end connectors. Thats all i need to finish my Jumbo.

These are completely different than the plastic units (you can tell by the detail of the bolts) and the profile or height of the wheels against the main body of the VVSS was much taller than these metal units, so I would say the wheels did get smaller.

I just heard back from MatoMart Canada and they are expecting the metal idler upgrade in as early as next week at a price of around $120. Kewl beanz. Just in time for my rebuild of my Sherman....

some of you have already put Iguess this info...
but still MATOhas produced new upgrade for MATOSherman - T49 Metal Trucks.
Check the price and availability with your dealers... Very good qulity and (I guess) blued steel or smth simular...

Hope they offer these duckbill ends as well as the tracks separately to really open up the variety of Shermans we can build.
