After dinner tonight I called my hunting and fishing buddy, Ray Kooman. He is a WWII vet and 88 now. He and his wife went out for dinner and had a grand time. He landed in Normandy, fought his way across france and then was sent to Bastogne where he became a POW. Six months later he was freed and came back to his family and loved ones. Thank God!

I also got to meet and talk with Wild Bill Guarere and Babe Hefron from the Easy Company this spring. They were great to talk with and very patient to all they meet. Never let a chance go by to meet them or to thank any Vet you see.

As my family and I go to sleep tonight we shall sleep well knowing that we are safe from tyranny beacuse of their sacrafices.
