King Tiger build nearly done with lots of pics
So this is a Heng Long tank been working on it off/on for a couple of months. Got it from Phil and had updated t0 480 motors and 3n1 drive unit. Also will have the Elmod Pro and Soundblaster 4 Pro as soon as they come in. I wanted to do a heavy weathered thats been in service for several years feel to it. I applied the zimmerit to it, first time, its a learning curve for sure. The tank 3 color camo is something I did after pouring through pictures and then just went at it with the airbrush. I added brass engine detail, cut off what goes for plastic nuts and replaced with brass screws. Added on some detail stuff like the helmets, rolls, gas cannisters and water cannister, still have some scale german rifles coming in the mail. I did a variety of weathering including wet wash, dry wash, chalk and the salt technique and spray paint textures. I still have some finer detail weathering yet to go. I'll be using the airtronics rock crawler edition radio to control it. I hope to be at Danville in April with it depending on some factors. More pics on the photobucket link below. Started taking pics inside, but the lighting was kinda blah and then went outside for some detail shots.

I really like the spots with minor dings and the rust texture around them, looks fantastic. The barrel and mantlet stood our as very nice looking too! :P
