Does anyone have any info on how Torpedo Chief (C. Clayton Meadows) is doing? Havn't heard and wondering...

Just spoke with Don and he asked me to post an update for him.

Don has complications with his lungs due to the Chemo he has been taken. The process has made his lungs stiff and he has a hard time breathing. He's not feeling all that well but his spirits are up and positive, so he says to please bear with him and asks for your prayers.

I'll probably run down and see him in a couple of weeks.

We this afternoon arranged for prayers for Don 5 times daily for the next month with Father Giorgei at our Church, Church of St. Nicholas the Miracle Worker, Sevastopol.

Gentlemen and fellow tankers.

We are deeply moved by the support for our comrade, Donald Clayton Meadows, aka Torpedochief. As I mentioned in an earlier post, Yeleana Yevgen'yevna and I have arranged for continuous prayers for Don for the next entire month including our Lenten Celebrations. Prayers will be said for Don 5 times a day in Church proper and at morning and evening vespers.


Gentlemen, again, thank you very much for the support for our cherished comrade Don. If we all pull together, I am sure He will hear, and bring our comrade back to us. God bless you all.

Bill, when you talk to him, please tell him of the outpouring of support for him. VCO and I were at Church this morning to give Father Giorgei the donations for prayers for him. This afternoon more donations have been sent. We will again go to Church tomorrow at 09 to give Church the additional donations.

Thanks for the support and kindness. Tough road I'm going down but we will beat this thing. You guys are the bestest ever.

I hope to be building something again soon. Hard to do anyting at the moment, but that will improve.
