I'm going to hold out for the 252.
The one with the cab and troop area is nice, but this one is unusual and unique and might even tow my nebelwerfer.
Thanks for bringing to MY attention!

I'd like a 253 with the turret, Count Chocula's one looks so cool [8D] !
But I'll settle for a 251 troop carrier for now, just as soon as I win the lottery or something [&o]

No but I am setting aside the funds for the 252. I think we are WAY under supplied on support vehicles. I have 2 M16's (they will be modded to an M3A1 and a T19) so now all I need is a JEEP and this cool looking AFV.
Hope there's more to come including maybe an affordable FAMO?

Already in progress. I tried to enlist the help of a very talented scratch builder and he did agree to help, but has since dropped off the face of the earth. So now I am stuck with the time consuming task of scratch building the 105MM. I have the DML T19 1/35th kit, so there will be no problem pulling this off.
Just time consuming and especially since I have "other" projects I have started in the way. It will be cool.

RE: Sdkfz 251 German Halftracks 1/16 MK Modell.de
I did a year and half ago and never got a reply and i did offer to pay the shipping costs, as i said never got a reply at all even after several attempts, so i gave up on it.
i eventually acquired a limited run 1/16 scale 251d which i converted to rc as a Pakwagn Sdkfz251d/22, with EL-Mod electronics and DX6 radio.
while my setup is not perfect it does the job as did all my other 251 halftracks.
