Default Dullcote question

Hi Fellas

I was wondering if the krylon clear matte spray is a suitable alternative to testors dullcote? around here cans of the testors dullcote cost almost $9 a can so it can get kind of costly. The krylon matte finish wont hurt plastic will it?

Cheers

Jeremy

Test it, the only way to be real sure.

9 dollars a can huh? For Testors? That's much more than what my LHS charges for Tamiya spray cans! [X(]

Cheers Panther F,

I might do that yeah. If it's going to be a problem it would probably be right away right?

It's $5.50 in US, but Canada packaging is much more.

if you are over spraying paint, I'd be more worried about it making the paint run than attacking the plastic.

I used it on my Panther G. I had no bad effects, no paint running and no melted plastic. I overspraied Tamiya acrylic paint with it.

Krylon Matte finish #1311

The picture shows noontime sun at 3850 meters above sea level. Not much shine.
