Battery care
Got a question, is it better to leave the batteries unpluged or better yet, take them out of the tanks while not in use? Will they hold a charge longer or does it matter? Just curious...

RE: Battery care
When not in use, never leave them plugged in. If something goes wrong with the battery, the tank gets damaged also. And if it's plugged in and the tank is off, there still could be a slight drain. So yes remove them from the tank

RE: Battery care
I used to just disconnect them, especially with the 2 in the Tamiya Tiger when pulling them out is a pain, but since we've got the battle systems, they are used frequently enough that just turning them off is enough for me. Except the Stug which is on 2.4 Spektrum with the cheap HL switch under the back deck. It doesn't positively lock on or off, so I don't trust it, especially considering the possibility of a runaway. My Tamiyas are on the old 27M Attack radios, so you turn the tank on first anyway.
If they aren't going to be used for a while, I'll pull everything and I never charge them in place.
