RE: Clark electronics TK20
I put it through some trials outside later and see what I can figure out. This is my heaviest tank, with a big asiatam recoil motor and a giant turret to rotate so theoretically it's also my highest current-draw tank as well, with the loudest speaker too.. :P
For all I know it could be a combination of over amperage, making heat, which leads to brownouts.. phew!!

Hi, Strato50,
Your speaker is too close to receiver and caused interference.

Thanks Clark.
Strato50, just for the sake of accurate troubleshooting, & maybe you were going to do this anyway, but after you reposition the receiver farther away from the speaker, maybe you could also remove the fan while doing some testing on the setup first to see if your issues have gone away without any need for the fan. Then add the fan back later if you feel you still want to use one to cool the system.
If your system works fine after the receiver repositioning & without a fan, it might be a good footnote I can add to the Clark board setup PDF to warn others of this potential behavior.

Found it right after i said it >_< However for some reason my controls are backwords....sideways is forward\reverse and i can't get the gun to elevate! (Everything else works though lol) Does the Dx6i need to be set up in a special way?

No, so far you just have some channels in the wrong spot. Swap aileron and elevator and bingo, sideways is no longer throttle.

RE: Clark electronics TK20
Well after trying lots of diffrent wireing combo's to my receiver (Including the correct one...) My tank still won't let me drive it on one stick....so far it lets me go forward\back words with left\right on oneside and control the turret on the the other. Could it be my reciever is faulty or my DX6i needs something done to its setting?

You can probably find the manual online. Servo cable allocation and you might have to reverse a couple of servos in the programming and you should be fine. I have a DX6I running a Clark board with turret control on the left and speed and direction on the right.

RE: Clark electronics TK20
the issue is your reciever is not compatible with your radio. This has nothing to do with the Clark board and everything to do with your radio and reciever. You can get it too fire left stick down so all you need to do is find the correct combination of plug ins and settings.

Just tried that, it apears to be my Dx6 setup, do you know if there any guides as to how it should be programmed since i haven't touched any of the things settings.

If you have some control then the radio and receiver must be compatible. This park flyer receiver you have is it 4 channel or 3. IF you only have a 3 channel receiver you are not going to get this to work
You can buy Orange receivers from HK that work with Spektrum radios for about $6.00. If you don't want to pay the HK shipping, then PM me, as I have a couple.

Freaky you think his receiver combo is the issue? I mean, if he's getting signal and it bound properly, shouldn't it be working fine already?
YHR is right on the servo cables.

its the reciever, its not compatible with the DSM technology in the radio those 115 micro lite park flyer recievers are like that. , I already mailed white tiger the link to the orange recievers but if Dan has some it would be much faster to get them from him.

OK, so I decided to do 2 PDF booklets, & boy was there a freaking ton of messing with the sloppy way Clark has the TK20 Series information page constructed, just to get half way decent reading flow & printing out of these PDF files, but they aren't too bad now.
So with the newly updated PDF files, one is a Complete booklet that has the entire contents of Clark's TK20 Series website page (plus some extras as of 5/12/2013) in it, & is rather large, while the 2nd booklet just has all the necessary Programming information so it's nice & compact for quick reference!
Oh, & after just finishing all this up, figures, I noticed that Clark also had another listing glitch, under Save Preset 2, the ''Available Settings'' shows, ''Save to PRESET 1'', rather than Save to PRESET 2 ... oh well, for now that will remain a glitch ... [img][/img]
Also, if anyone notices any other glaring mistakes, something I've missed, or has an idea for something which would be nice to add, just let me know.
The links to both PDF files are in my earlier post a few back from this one, here's a quick link to the post: TK20 Series PDF Booklets

I would assume anyone going to install a servo for gun elevation would see the "Gun Elevation Servo Mode" option listed under this function, & change it accordingly, therefore the J4 pins would be activated.
However, I do see how this setting could still be confusing, so I guess it might be helpful to place a note to clear the description for the function up a little more under the function box itself, as well as add something about it under the "Special Board Programming Notes" section too.
