We're integrating gyro driver on expansion board, please make sure your Leopard 2 meets following requirement and I'll let you know when we need beta tester
- servo elevation,
- turret rotation limiter(please refer to Tamiya Leopard 2A6 design, I'll also show this design on my Leo1)
- Max. turret rotate speed >= 40 degree/Sec.

I would love to convert a 1/35 model tank to RC, that would be quite a project! I guess not every model tanks are good for this...specially with those tamiya crappy rubber tracks...

Hi, Rey,

TK22 L1 is shipped to our Germany distributor two weeks ago, he and his customer will help to film the full demo video for me, I'll upload it to youtube when I get it.

Regards,
Clark

Thanks Clark for the response.

I've been holding off electro decision for my AS1...TBSing or TKing =).
Any engine sound preview soonest (via PM or link) will really help me decide if i pay up front for another TBS or grab a TK instead.

If you do care about engine sound, you can add TK22 expansion board afterward, we already show it's engine sound before
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BIo8x4wxmus Its engine sound driver is more like BERIRE, not to use short sound files to render engine engine, but use much longer sound files and use mixer to mix them together to achieve much smoother transition.

TK22 expansion board is not just a sound module, but also have advanced features for modern tank model, here is "auto load position" function.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WpaBFiOC8Ek tank gun will raise to loading position automatically after firing, and return to original position when loading time expired. you can see this feature on real Leopard 2 and Challenger 2 tank.

We are now adding " engine deck level " function, tank gun will raise automatically when the gun rotations above the engine deck position.

In the end, TK22A(TK22 + expansion board) will acts more like tamiya T-07 but have more functions we are now developing.

Regards,
Clark

Hi, Ray,

I can't not sure now, want to put too many functions on expansion board, can only calculate the cost and set the price when all works are done.

Regards,
Clark

Sorry, link is corrected, the small board in my hand is a gyro sensor.

Still have some math to do and need to add some user configuration function, such sensor calibration, gain tuning...
