Not really understanding this..

When higher current track motors are used, such as 400/480 motor, power switch on battery cable path will not be able to handle, connect a switch cable (for example, HL Smoke Unit Switch Cable) to this port as power switch.

I have done this already "Connect a switch cable (for example, HL Smoke Unit Switch Cable) to Switch Cable Port as power switch. Because HL tank already have power switch on battery cable, you can just to short Switch Cable Port's two pins or connect to a switch cable and keep it switched on."

So a standard HL power switch on the battery feed can not work with 480's??

Wait you mean to say the standard bottom-hull on / off switch is a bad idea with bigger motors?

I have never even once suspected or come close to having an issue in any of my tanks... hmmm

Yes, according to the online manual, I would like clarkmodel to give a recommendation on just what to use.

You can use HL smoker switch, or switch that can handle 2A current @ 7V

Here is test video of additional dc to dc step-up adjustable voltage regulator
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ReT-Y03QleY you can find motor "hummm.." noise is no longer noticeable when engine sound is on, and sound level is much higher than before. another advantage is that you can use 8-ohm speaker when audio amplifier is powered by 12V!

Thanks Strato50.

TK22G2 will be released by middle of October with new production run, the following are the overview on webpage, instructions for installing are also added to TK22 web page.

- 2-axis gun stabilization in turret rotation and gun elevation.
- Fully programmable gun elevation real angle calculator allows GBS to work with different elevation setup,
- Fully programmable turret motor controller allows GBS to work with different motor/gear box setup,
- Engine deck detection, gun raise automatically when gun travels above engine deck,
- Auto reload position, Gun barrel goes to to reload position after fire, and return to last position when reload when reload time expired,
- Adjustable Engine deck level,
- Adjustable auto reload position,
- GBS unit dimensions: 20 x 16 x 3mm.
- Unified platform design, allows all existing TK20/TK22 can be shipped back to us to upgrade to TK22G2.

As TK22G2 is completed, we can now continue on our true engine sound add-on module testing and release job.

As technology keeps moving forward, after engine sound add-on module, one product I'd like to develop is a very high performance, 32-bit RISC based, universal control board for all rc models, for example, we already have gyro stabilizer technology, to make this board to support RC helicopter must be very interesting, base on the 32-bit RISC I'm evaluating, the major feature we want to achieve one this board are:

- Programmable, up to 4 channel, up to 120A current, brushed or brush-less, main propulsion motor speed control,
- Up to 16-bit audio resolution, Up to 15 audio sound track can be played at the same time, so no priority table is needed,
- Support WOT, ELMOD , BEIER and IBU sound pack format, and of course our proprietary format for best weapon, turret and elevation sound,
- Update over USB port, all are done by the host program on PC, so user don't need to copy file to SD card, remove sd card from card reader, insert sd card to control board....do this again if get some problem.
-On-line update over USB port,
- Multiple direction IR/Laser battle.
-6 axis gyro for stabilizer and navigation.

We know the market for high performance(high cost too) control board is very very small, but it must be fun to do a product like this.

Regards,
Clark

It's being a long time we don't release new board, here now we present you TK22-T2!

It's suitable for German King Tiger,Tiger I,Panther and JadgPanther WITHOUT Flammenvernichter Muffle, engine sound is Hand Crank Start Up Maybach HL 230 P30,

Main and Secondary armament, Gun elevation and turret rotation sound are the same to TK22-T1 so we don't show these sound on this video.

TK22G2-L2+TBS mini on Taimiya Leopard 2A6, 90% done, elevation direction is inverted and need to be reprogrammed.

In this video, you can find that the gun barrel direction is still locked even hull turning speed exceeds maximum speed(40 degree/s) of turret motor.

Hello All,

We are happy to announce that we have new member of TK20 series, the TK24. while we are developing new platforms, we never forgot the users of TK20 series and try include newly developed technology into it, so the TK24 comes out.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yp5e6d_DXmo Major improvement, new feature and change are:
-Multi simple set fuzzy logic engine sound simulation which is widely used on PC game to give you realistic and quick response engine sound,
-Natural gear design allow you to stop track and to rev engine,
-One additional MG channel for coaxial MG or Commander's cupola MG, and it can be fired independently,
-5 audio channels are dynamically allocated for sound effects, to give you none-interrupted sound effects,
-Elevation and turret rotation sound driver are also improved for real time response to user input.
-HL recoil unit and tamiya recoil unit are no longer supported, we suggest to use servo recoil for best and realistic recoil movement as shown in this video, we will provide more recoil unit for different tank model on the market.

We start to ship TK24 by end of Nov. with new tk22 production run, and all existing TK20/TK22 can be upgraded to TK24 anytime through our upgrade program. Hope you will like it and support us as usual.

Regards,
Clark

Will the TK24 have all the sound packs as the previous models? I want to upgrade my Leo2 and M1A2 next year, this looks like a huge improvement in sound resolution. Well done!

Can not be sure for now, not every type of engine sound is suitable for new engine sound driver, anyway we will try. .

While we are doing S/W review before production, we think the newly developed proportional smoke driver should be able to include into TK24
