What's on it or in line for it?
I usually end up getting an idea in my head for a project, overload with amassing the ref materials and parts, then pile it up waiting for bench space and never get the time to actually do it.
I have four RC projects ready to go and I refuse to come up with anymore until they are done.
In no particular order:
Jagdpanzer IV (V). HL chassis, metal tracks and gears, Maxx 400s, idler tensioner, Profiline resin upper, Tamiya recoil. I'll use the DBC/Benedini/Amp/OrangeRx/Visation/RX-18 system from the StuG to run it, I just need to fabricate a barrel and figure out a traverse/elevation system.
Vospers MTB. I know, it's a boat, but it's a cool Italeri 1/35 kit, about 3 feet long. I plan on using a DBC/RX-18 turning twin motors just like a tank. I figure I get both sound and reverse that way. I'd go straight RX-18, but don't trust the range, I'd rather use 2.4, hence the DBC.
Trumpeter T-34/76 '42. I've had the kit since it was first released, now ready for RC with a HL Pz III as donor. Plan on using the same system as the other builds, but program the Benedini for Russian sound.
Fieseler Storch. I wanted to build a micro Storch, around 20'' wingspan. I got a few books from Germany, a set of plans to shrink down, all the wood, motors and servos, tested finishing materials and paint, worked out the flap system, worked out the landing gear system (Storches could almost land like a helicopter is the right wind), it's all ready to go, haven't touched it since I bought the damn TBUs over the winter.
I swear I just going to duck my head and get to work. See you guys in a few years...
