I know Aber has it in photo etch for 1/16 scale. I am using it on a StuG III G fender. It will take 4 sheets to do both left and right fenders on a Panzer III or StuG.
Here is a place that carries it...

They were good to deal with. Got my stuff pretty quick. Matter of fact they carry this before and added it to their PE inventory. If you have questions they respond quick as well.

I can vouch for them too, I ordered a from them few times and it was a good experience. I believe the owner is a member here (or the UK forum).
Some companies make generic diamond plate as well as other patterns in photo etched, you might look around a bit. The Aber sheets are nice, but short. I'm sure the truck guys have a bunch of options.

Hi fellow tankers, Thanks for everyone’s nice compliments about our company. We try our best to have everything you tankers need in-stock at all times, but for items we don’t carry. Just let us know what Aber plating you need and we will start stocking them for you all.
As to the Aber (ABE03) plating, which was mentioned here, we are stocking them now and will from now on because you tankers asked for it.
Thanks again to all the RC Universe tankers out there that support our company year after year.
Thanks, Gene

Here is a link to show what a guy did to make his HL Panzer III L look better using the Aber Dot Tread plate. I also attached some of the photos here from that link. This was my inspiration to use the Aber Dot Tread plate to convert the fenders on a Panzer III M for a StuG III G based on the M hull.

How are you feeling pal? I know Gene at Artistic Hobbies personally. He is a great guy, RC tanker, builder and honest too. I battled with him in Texas a few years ago when Steve Sharky and I few to Texas for the Texas Armor Club big battle weekend. I'm sure he will treat you well. Please give him my regards.

Ausf,
SteelWulf/Wolfang's work is crazy good stuff. I have used several of his ideas to upgrade the detail on my StuG III G/Panzer III M upper hull. I need to start taking photos of my StuG build before I complete it.
