Spektrum Receiver Futaba Servos
Hello
I am asking the group here if someone knows. With a Spektrum receiver, model non specific or even an Orange brand. Would any Futaba Servo, S3003 work with the Spektrum receivers OR do you have to change the servo wire lead positions in the plug?
I have a stock pile of the OLD futaba servos that I want to use with my newly bought spektrum receiver. Any opinions would be helpful.
Thanks
George

futaba's still come with the key way so trim that off.
Its spektrum product that has the voltage backwards so if you are using an orange receiver you should be ok, if it is a spectrum receiver not only did you pay too much but I am not 100% on the voltage

The only issue will be the plug. You may have to trim the edge like everyone has mentioned.
Spektrum charging jacks are wired in reverse of most other radios for rechaging the batteries in the radio. Should be no issues on the RX side of things.

My experience with the servos has been that as long as you plug it in right it will work . some of the servos come with different color combinations but from what I've seen, and this isn't gospel, the black wire lead or darkest color is negative side of the servo.
I've used hitec servos for the recoil in my tanks with the DBCRC2 with a DX6i and had no problems. The guys at the local hobby store told me th servos will work with any radio.
