A SPECIAL VENDOR
In today's age of instant communication and often, derisive and ugly commentary, I want to illustrate someone who has truly helped me in learning and overcoming the intricacies (for me...) of the electronics that drive our tanks.
As anyone who has read my post(s), you have probably chuckled over my trials and tribulations in building my first tank. However, I have learned some invaluable skills (I really didn't know how to solder or make a servo wire 10 months ago) and most importantly, I have met some great people that have really helped me both from my local club (DAK) and this forum.
Hats off to Dan at Battle Armor RC.
I can't count the emails and information that has gone back and forth. My last blunder was a box of blown out RX18's and DB boards shipped back to Dan with the instructions "do what you will with them".
What he did was to go through all the parts, identify and fix what he could and asked if I would pay the shipping back!
I couldn't find a labor fee in the email.
We finally settled on adding a new RX18 to the bill and increasing the charge.
I can't say enough good things about Dan except that he may need to raise his prices to offset his kind heart.
Thanks Dan!

RE: A SPECIAL VENDOR
I concur wholeheartedly on this one.
Dan is one of those rare vendors that seems to accept money only to keep the operation going. His true intention is the promotion of the hobby as a whole and will selflessly advise you in the best way possible, whether it's his product or not.
