Default Which Way to Moscow?

Hey guys!

I had some fun today shooting some pics of my Panzer III, my fingers were frozen by end of the shoot but it was all worth it.

Enjoy!

I like the painted numbers, and I like your use of "trees" for perspective, very well done. The fourth picture is my favorite.

Looks like it just got off the train, not much road mud for being in snow country.

Thank guys!

The conditions were just right yesterday, albeit being slightly chilly. The snow was iced over so the tracks did not sink through.

Nice pics of a nice model ........... I'm jealous.

You guys who get snow have an unfair advantage for taking great photos.

Nate,

The perspective is great, just some of them have pesky telephone/power poles that jump into your perfect photo. I hate when they do that!!!

My favorites are photos 1,3,7,8,9. Very realist shots. If there were a little snow on the tracks and no pesky poles it would be hard to not think it
was a real tank headed towards Moscow.

Thanks again for sharing,

Rudy

Thanks!

The pics were taken at a soccer field near my house, there's a big hill adjacent to it so I thought it could serve as a nice white background, but I guess its hard to escape the modern world when you're trying to emulate Eastern Europe!

Really nice pictures as the winter scenes are the best.
