Benedini TBSmini - Clark TK20E tandem

RE: Benedini TBSmini - Clark TK20E tandem
It might be that IR battles can be (a) basic and (b) advanced, where the former allows for "fun" run, whilst the latter would have to at the least have (i) diallled in relevant IR range adjustments, (ii) speed limitations and (iii) Impact or Tamiya IR sensor.
This set-up allows for early tankers to enjoy the hobby and at the same time appreciate the need for standardisation and tactics. On the other hand, the seasoned tankers can get on to progressing better set tactical battles, limiting falling out of the hobby...
On my KT, i had the Taigen Blue IR receiver fitted with hit led(red). Whilst my tamiya tiger 1 can hit hit this at 12 m indoors, outside, falls to mere 3 m. If you notice, we had been trading shots with another KT (HL IR receiver), but none registered. Only then when the tamiy PzIv came closer was I got hit. Even some of the tami's with painted TBUs were kinda hard to hit. It might be that baffles n prism had been painted or smudged inside. The Elmod Pershing was quite easy to hit, as it was bare naked.
At least 1 TBU or IBU(impact) per tanker (if he decides to progress) be needed should battles progress from basic (no set rules) to advanced (appropriate speed, standard hit receiver, appropriate cannon range).
