Default Anyone making correct PZIII idlers?

And I just missed the thread?

They've been undersized on the HL's since they started making them, I've not found anyone that is selling corrected ones, hoping I just missed seeing a post with a vendor selling them!

I know it was being talked about on here in 2009, can't believe nothing has changed since then.

Yes, he does make early ones, but neither them nor his later ones are the right size. They measure 43.7mm, and need to be 49mm, I wrote him about it a couple of years ago to request that he consider producing them, but he wasn't interested in it at that time. -Mike

I hear you dyeager535!!! The Stug III idlers are about 94% the size they should be. Here is a thread that proves what sassgrunt said.

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_80...tm.htm#8078008

You would thing that Asiatam, Impact, Wecho, Schumo, or Panzer Parts would make a correct set??? But nooooo!!![:@] Really like the Asiatam metal lower hull, but guess what??? Yep the idlers on it are small as well. Crazy stuff???

Thank you for posting a link to original thread, Maus45. Yes, that was the one I had read at the time that gave me the correct sizes, (I wrote them down in a notebook, but had no idea what thread they originally came from).

While we're on the subject of 'how come nobody has made this yet' what about some metal suspension arms to replace the plastic ones on the WSN T-34? Other than DT's set, I don't know of anything else, and the stock ones really are flimsy.

Amen!!! to that sassgrunt. For me the T-34 was to the Russian's what the Sherman was to the Yanks and Brits. So what gives??? Are manufactures scared to make/produce stuff for the T-34? I am really hoping that either Asiatam, Taigen, or Mato makes a metal lower hull for the T-34 or at least makes swing arms, drive sprockets, and idlers for it???!!!

If my math is right that's an 11% difference in diameter, so pretty significant. It's been known for a long time, yet no changes? Few less track links/no retooling saves THAT much money for the manufacturer? Eh, probably does, but not sure why the aftermarket isn't meeting the need.
