Hope everyone got home ok on Sunday. Took Tony and I an extra 2 hrs to get home with the snow. Lots of cars spinning out trying to cross lanes, and saw a pretty nasty accident on 64 with a burning car.

All, last weekend was my first battle day and I had a "blast". Everyone was really great. If anyone is on the fence about attending a battleday, well, you are really missing out on alot of fun. Newbies are more then welcome. We make great targets but that said you can come up to speed pretty quickly.
I posted a short video on youtube of some of the matches on saturday. I shot if with a small digital camera so it is a bit rough around the edges. That said I hope you all enjoy it.

It's processing right now but should be availbel soon.
Thanks,

We also waited until today to leave. Mostly rain and sleet up 29 to PA. No issues and we made good time around 5 hours or so.
I have to thanks for putting this event together. We had a great time.
Special thanks to James for geting my 480s setup so the JS-2 could move after hits. That thing will take some learning but atleast I can run away now. LOL

Great looking video guys. Willy, that Go Pro does a nice job. Now you get to do all the field maintenance with your awesome equipment. All I have to say is bring lots of batteries! Steve

The changes to the field make it much more interesting. Now all I have to do is figure out a way to keep from getting killed so fast!

I had a great time, and there were some fun battles.
I am still bummed that I flipped my tank in the last round, especially after organizing it!
Doh!

You rolled your tank, yes, but your team still won the tournament. Proof of a good commander! The troops still won without you.

Damage Report
Out of the 6 tanks we fielded 4 had main gun damage requiring mechanical repair.
I got lucky with "battle" damage to the Panther. During a sprint into town I miss judged a blind turn and Jousted a building. That pretty much eliminated the recoil unit. Lucky for me the nut that holds the brass bolt for the main gear to use as a bearing had come off. The impact jammed the recoil unit back dislodging the brass bolt out of the gear but absorbed the energy. All the parts where in the tank and shes back to normal.
M51 had the entire gun hanging from the turret yet fought on and the traverse clutch was fragged.
Tiger 1 had the recoil worm gear and shaft come free of the retainer and jam the unit.
IS2 had the barrel breach split, make nothing for the recoil to pull.
In the end all the tanks are back in service and we are fortunate not to have more serious damage.
