RE: Re: Mc Farlane 6,5
i have collect 20 of them for now, payed not more then 40 dollar a piece , i bought last week one for 4 pound in mint condition in the UK
i poste a few of my technical Toyota Hilux Technical : the story behind, the US marines Hummer was severe damaged they took the rebels technical to track them down its build onto the Axial SCX-10 scaler chassis with 90mm terrain tyres, winch etc and working lights and motorsound with the tamiya MF 02 (from the Ford F 350 Hilux 1/10)
its far from finished but you see what i will make
having a hummer in 1/10 is not possible, the tamiya one is 1/12 compared to 1/10 a lot to small, also the figures would be to big for it

RE: Re: Mc Farlane 6,5" Military Figures - Scale 1/10
because this body work of the Ford F350 is very hard to find i decided to hold the double cabine and make into the trunk a heavy machinegun standard or a rocket launcher
the model will see as following pic but in the livery of the US army Technical
some more marines for into my collection

RE: Re: Mc Farlane 6,5
am still looking for more Mc Farlane figures, the are top notch, beautiful real life like US marines etc in more the 50 poses
every figure is a collectors item, 3 of each were made : 1x white caucasian, 1x negro and 1x asian type some of the figures go over the 300 pound on ebay UK
but if you are patient and have time you can collect them all on very good cheap prices
some guy's claim these figures are to small, NOT treu :compare this women next to a Ford F350 Raptor how small she looks

RE: Re: Mc Farlane 6,5
Karel, the Axial based vehicles are great aren't they, I love mine. I have the ax-10 w/the trail chassis and tamiya 350 shocks sitting around trying to figure out what I want to build it into. Can't wait to see this painted and weathered. Sweet build.
Cheers,
Wade

RE: Re: Mc Farlane 6,5
yes the axials are real great to ride with, i have the gelande from RC4WD also under my defenders, i swaped this with one of my none FO tanks ... i must admit it goes just like the real vehicles am now thinking on a Ford F350 technical to make a body ... i found a double cabine in plastic body of those Ford F350 ones does anyone knows of the US army use this kind of thing ... i've saw the F350 Raptor on the net but it would be a pitty to offer this double cabine for this up, i rather would make a raptor of the tamiya F350 bodyworks
