Combines super-realistic scale form with nimble flight performance!
Features advanced 4-channel R/C system with rudder for full flight control.
The dream combination of high-performance flight and incredible scale detail has finally been realized. With its stunning scale finish, you could mistake this model for a desktop display. But the compact size of this “aiRium series” model is packed with advanced micro-plane technology featuring full 4-channel control that delivers stunning flight performance. The specially designed high-performance brushless motor and ESC (electronic speed controller) combine to deliver powerful output directly to the propeller, smoothly and reliably without a gear reduction unit. When powered by a 450mAh Li-Po battery, 5-minute flight times of true fighter plane performance worthy of the SPITFIRE name are achieved. The model comes as an almost fully pre-assembled Readyset and includes an advanced 2.4GHz DSSS system that automatically selects open frequencies for safe flight control. With expert design and build to realize flight performance that will be appreciated by owners over a long period of time and a detailed scale finish that will draw admiration from all, this SPITFIRE opens the door to a deeper fascination with scale aircraft flight.
3-blade propeller doesn’t just recreate the original prop for display; it produces powerful thrust for realistic fighter plane flight performance.
Features such as panel lines, machine gun and air intake are recreated down to the finest detail. Scale form combines with nimble flight performance way beyond its actual size.
ncludes ball link display stand that can be set at various angles to recreate different flight scenes.

Maybe if the tanks where placed and the planes attacked and dropped markers while everyone was clear that might work. The those "hit" would be out and the battle resumed until the next wave.
The learning curve with AC is vastly different than armor, run times are very short on electrics and wind conditions need to be ideal.
I modified a UM P-51 to use a brushless motor so it can carry some weight and after about a year and a dozen planes I've become adept enough to line up strafing runs, I bet I could set up a Mako board and emitter just like I did with the Kettenkrad rider w/Panzerschreck. It wouldn't be a battle, but trying to get a Tiger across a field before it was destroyed would be fun with lining up runs and the tank dodging.

Other than that, it seems like they would not mesh so well. Funny that nobody makes tanks from Japan or England but the planes are from those countrys.
That spitfire would look nice parked next to a Chirchill...
.planes could be a great hazard.
Don't ask how I know.
There is a reason I eventually switched to tanks....
90% of the time my day ends when I run out of battery, not when my take is in pieces
Still, these planes are great! Thanks for sharing.
Until someone comes out with an IL-2, I'd say don't get hung up on the scale & get one of the DuraFly 1100mm Stukas. Its 1:12 but would look more fitting in the field.

Now THAT would make a real neat platform for some sort of featherweight FPV system when making an IR strafing run on a column of 1/16 tanks..

Of course you can always amp it up a notch. Maxtronics makes a lovely assortment of toys that, if purchased & modified, will certainly get Homeland Security's attention & you on a watch list.

its not that hard to practise at home some weeks, these little birds have stabilisator systems into it so with a little practise most people can fly with it but its not a toy remember that when somebody wants to try, its no then !!!
