Default San Diego Area Battle Day

Thank you all for coming. I'm hoping to have a meet once every other month, preferably around the 3rd week of the month ~Sunday? Uploaded some pics of the grassy field..... BattleField always is changing, last event was no exception..... Lot of mobility restrictions as the grass played havoc with the tracks.... But it made the battlefied interesting.

So far, I'm looking around May 19 for the next battle. The grass should still be a factor...... and of course the terrain/gullies provide a nice challenge.

Hope to see you all there!!

I'm guessing that far south that most of that grass you have will dry up come summer?

You have some pretty cool buildings.

Default RE: San Diego Area Battle Day

Oh yea.... the jungle battle is temporary and during the summer the battlefield becomes desert warfare.... I think it's pretty nice that every battle turns into something different because of the chaning terrain.... No snow though.. but we have had muddy terrain (drizzle) battle...

Thanks for the kudos on the buildings... I have a lot of fun building them. Originally I made them so I can transport them in my truck. Made a building carrier that holds all the buildings/trees and can load it + my tanks onto an explorer (for those offsite battles when phil was around). Now we have a nice battlefield with a permanent nature....

So, some obvious points of view.....
1. You can never have enough tanks....
2. I need more buildings..
3. Wife supports my hobby so long as I get her wifey stuff .... Oh, she's getting a tank.. ..
4. I need more money for 1 & 2 and 3.
