light colors
OK guys, I need to figure out what color light the German notek light produced. This is the hooded light at the front, and not the headlight. Was it a yellowish/white light or red or blue or green. This is also a question for the convoy light at the rear. I seem to remember something about it, but my old timers is kicking in and I also suffer from a severe case of CRS. Any help would be appriciated.

RE: light colors
The Notek was a regular automotive type bulb, so any white or yellowish would work in scale. I've done it two ways with LEDs, one yellow with no lens and the other a white with a tinted lens. The yellow casts a nice round glow in front of the StuG, but the white with lens looks more realistic to me.
The convoy light was usually portrayed as blue, but recently it was proven to be a satin black tube with green lights.

They were all white Herman. Many appeared to be colored, but it is actually overspray from camo paints. I noticed this on several tanks both restored and original. One of the benefits of examining these first-hand in person. [:@]

Here is the rear....if that is your next question....LOL
BTW...Check out that neat bracket for the convoy light on the Panther. It is the only intact one I have ever seen.
