That thing is old and has been around for quite a while.

It barely has any ground clearance so it would be suitable for flat surfaces only.

For 65 bucks you only get 2 wheels drive and 2 wheels steering.

I think the Puma was 8 WD and 8 W steering.

It would be a challenge but I'm sure it can be done.

That's an awful replica of an LAV-25.  If working it would be 4-wheel steering (front two "axles") and more than 2-wheel drive.  I forget if it is 8- or 4-wheel drive.

The LAV-25 should be 8 wheel drive.

I have the Sdkf 222 from Andrews Design. It is 4 wheel drive and 4W steering.

It is a Hooben tank on wheels...LOL. It looks great... but is a horribly designed and engineered.

Driving a 4 wheel steering RC is very twitchy and tricky to drive straight. I would recommend 2x4 for a 222/223 or 4x8 steering for the Puma for any serous driving, as in battle. If you just want a unique RC then the all steering is a must.

The item from hobbyraw is junk. I bought one few years ago from somewhere else. wheels are one sided and hollow, axles wobbly just to name few items . not even a good base for anything. still have it laying around in junk pile.[]

looks like a poor rendition of a Canadian Grizzly or Cougar, they were originally built in Sweden or Germany I think. We are missing wheeled vehicles but I don't think this is what we need.

Wow, looks good. I was interested in the wheels on the Bruder tractor as well as they look a lot like the Schwimwagon wheels? I wonder what size they are?

Without the car body how high, wide and long is the rock crawler? Did you have to remove or modify anything to get the A/C body to fit? I love what you built!

I only used the front and rear motor/gearbox/wheels, but not wanting to hijack this thread here's a link to the build

My son has a "Claas Xerion 5000" whichI believe is the same tractor chassis as the one you had shown. You can see the 5000 at www.brudertoys.com/en/usa/range/range-and-series/professional-series/commercial-vehicles/

Ican measure the tires if you are interested.

Of major note though is that the wheels, while tough, are hollow on the inside, facing the body of the tractor. So, they would goop with dirt and mud quite quickly. These toys are really made to play inside. The four wheel steering is kind of clunky also, and makes a great childs toy (to be played with by hand), but might be a pain to rc.

i have the xion 222 and the 223 also, thanks to their weight they have good riding cability's but as you say straight driving isn't easy with those
but unique to the rc tank world , hopefully their horch make it to on the marked

I agree about the Horch but won't hold my breath.

That was a very cool offering but doubt we'll ever see it.

Thanks Ten41. Are the tires rubber? I could see that the wheels/rims were hollow or not full. I am interested in the outer diameter and inner diameter of the rubber or tire. As you can see they are very similar to the Schwimmwagen wheels.

Would something like this work? It has 8 wheel drive and 4 front wheel steering. You just need about $3000!

Wow, that truck is nice but their prices are astronomical. They want $169 for a Tamiya battle unit.

Unfortunately, Iam having a hard time locating the tractor. The boys have a tendency to take them everywhere...

Yes, the tires are rubber. As for the size though, these tractors are huge, being used on large farms. The tires would easily be half the size of a Schwimmwagen if laid down, Iwould believe.

Once Ifind it Iwill get you the dimensions though. You would think that a bright green tractor would be easy to find.
