We are glad you made it home safely Leong....I know I had a great time battling with and against you. I'm sure you will be back. All the guys enjoyed your company. I overnighted in New Market, VA and will visit the US Army Heritage center in Carlisle, PA.

Nice videos from both you guys.....I know Herr Willy was very excited about the truck load of beer on Sunday. Doug, Willy and I retired to the Texas Roadhouse Rest & Bar near the Comfort Inn after we finished up late Sunday afternoon. We had a nice dinner and finally pulled the pin at 7 PM. What a fantastic weekend. Pix soon. I am still on the road.
WOW...I just heard about the shootings at the Naval Base in Wash DC. I have not had the car radio on today at all and just sat down to go online and saw the TV broadcasts. I am shocked...Even I didn't know that that fornicating liar Hillbilly Clinton, and his Commander in Chief: Hillary, had "Disarmed" our military at their US bases? I am speechless. The US Armed forced has to call the police for help...this is wrong!
Pray for the victims and their families....what a shame.

YHR - I made the trip over here from quite far away, you can too.
Here's a selection of some of my photos, the rest are found on my club page's gallery in Facebook:
Tanks to everyone for giving me a great time but in particular to RustyTrax for the grub screw and loan of some tools, Pershing.Driver for the loan of a TFA apple for the weekend, Jersey Bob for the ride and tools and glue, last but not least, Doug Gasser for hosting a great battlefield and event. I really, really, enjoyed myself!

We are so glad you came Leong. You did great in battle and we all enjoyed you company immensely. I'm glad you got to meet so many NEAD members. The northern guys are just as great as the southern crew. I think we had a great turnout for our club.

AWESOME! Keep me in mind as this is one wheeled vehicle I want!
Will probably have to get a loan but THIS is the 'truck' I want!

Wunderbar Birgen. Warum mussen wir ein Jahr warten? Konnen Sie im Novenber kommen? Wo wohnen Sie? Nexte Jahre, in Juni, wir sind nach Normandie gehen fur "70th D-Day". Du auch?
Das tut mir leid...Mine Duetsch is nicht so gut. Aber meine Freund Willy's Deutsch ist perfekt.

Ok, so here are some pix....as promised.
One of the many scenarios we did was a four teams of 3 tankers battle that rotates thru all four zones/corners at Danville. It is a blast and all too often a tie breaker must be fought to determine the winner. I was Team Four with Andrew and Noah...their total ages combined didn't equal half of mine. Needless to say we were the underdogs. We devised a solid strategy of just defending our zone. Then we would fight the bloodied enemy survivors who came to kill us entrenched in our prepared defenses. The other three teams were engaged in a big fur-ball of IR and tanks so we just took pot -shots at whomever crossed thru our sights. We threw a few haymakers and scored some hits that hastened a few knock-outs. Then it was out turn on the chopping block...but we had ZERO hits on any of us. On they came ...we held our ground and killed all the comers. Luckily, not one of us died on Team Four.
If you ever wondered where being between a rock and a hard place is ...here is a picture.
I had no hits and the tank was "twitchy" ( It may have been me and my thumbs...but I doubt it). I got the Panther backed up onto the rock and slipped. I was up against a barrier to protect the scenery at the farm village and decided to turn off my tank and take it out of the battle rather than risk damaging the efforts of the builders that have survived 10+ years and hundreds of battles. I didn't want to push around the Pzr IV either.
I really didn't want to disturb the cemetery that I knew was right next to my tank either or else ....BAD TANK KARMA WILL HAUNT ME.

This is another shared project with my German buddy Roland ( Modellspiegel ) .
I got him hooked on that after I told him that I was tinkering with that .
The cab is gone come from him , as a laser-cut styrene kit ( base-kit ) ,
I gone do the chassis and drive-train for the tractor and the other misc stuff like the winches ... as for the trailer we probably gone have here 2 options , 1 I want to do based on a Wedico drop-deck-trailer frame and another one with more to scale machined frame parts ( which Roland is already working on ) ..
The cab you saw on these prototype photos is from my club-buddy Tiff .
He has his Dragonwagon already build after I did get him the tires for it.
Updates and more info's I will post soon in my old Dragonwagon post from 2005 :
