Default Mato 2.4Ghz radio.

I'm looking at the Mato Sherman with the 2.4Ghz radio. I am wondering how is it range wise? I've had other radios on other vehicles with extremely short range. If it's decent I want to buy one. Any comments welcome.

Thanks,

Bill

I've been looking at that same tank as well. I do hope you get some responses.

Your still getting Mato electronics so range should be on par with other Mato branded tanks and electronics. May not necessarily get any more range.
Most if not everyone I know has gutted out the electronics from the Mato's so i would get the base unit and upgrade with better electronics anyway.

The radio is not as good as what one would call a Hobby Radio as it feels the exact same as the Taigen radio, last I tested it I got 200 feet and walked away from the test thinking that was good enough. I was in a sandpit and it was super flat. I can't say what it would do against a location with interference
the point is the Radio is not a selling or buying feature unless your by yourself shooting BB's at targets
