El Mod User Defined Sounds
I have a question for the El Mod sound gurus. I'm trying to add the Tiger Tank theme from Kelly's Heroes as a user defined sound to my El Mod sound blaster but it doesn't seem to be working.
I have used Audacity to convert the file to a 22k mono, 8bit, uncompressed .wav and I have named it user1.wav. I have also updated the blaster.ini file to include a line for the user1.wav file (user1.wav U 1) and checked it with fchecker.exe. The radio has been set up to activate the sound on channel 7 but when I trigger it I get nothing. All other sounds work fine.
Can anyone see anything I might have missed?

With El-mod user sounds the problem usually lies in the transmitter configuration of the additional channels.
But if you think that the file format might be a possible reason, just overwrite it with any other working sound (gun, engine start, etc.) renamed as user1.wav, and check again if the transmitter triggers it.
Which kind of switch is your 7th channel on the transmitter?

Thanks for your help Gents, I managed to resolve this one.
For some reason user sample 1 is triggered by ch8 rather than ch7 as stated in the manual. Maybe I have my receiver wired incorrectly but it's all working now so that will do.
