I got to peek inside the box of one at the local hobby shop. I think it's very doable including a battle system. Probably a Clark setup due to space considerations. The tracks would also have to be tested to see if they could stand up to outdoor conditions. After this tank and the 38T my motor pool should be complete. Of course if a French or Italian model were to come out they'd be welcomed with open arms as well!

That is exactly what I will do with mine... use an existing system so all the gear is compatible.
I did get some 1/16 'dozer' tracks that are metal I will try to use. They are if anything but less than 1MM small in length (pad wise) but I will have to make a drive sprocket so we shall see.

I gotta do some testing to see if I can add the chip for momentum. It's operating system runs off 6V and ours is 7.2V.
I really don't like the 'hurky-jerky' throttle response I see in the video on his.

Eric Scott let me battle with his custom made F-17 several years ago. He did a super build and it was fun. It was but slow and I had to adjust a lot fighting with a light tank.

Eric's build is the inspiration for my project. Although I may not go as far as he did it is why I want one.
