Default Technical help, converting older HL to RX18 and need PCB connectors...

I have an older Tiger 1 that's probably the first revision with sound and smoke. Thanks to this board, I have diagnosed a problem as being a blown main board. I ordered the R18, cracked open the tank and found that my board is so old that it is "hard wired" and doesn't use connectors. Now I have to find connectors for the wires. Hopefully, the turret connection is the same.

I need to know where I can find these things? Are they available at a hobby shop? I would also like to know if anyone has them lying around and would sell me a set.

Thanks!

These should be good:

It says "for Clark boards" but they are actually the same set of wires that come with the RX-18

You can find a pin out drawing of the RX-18 online and just solder direct to the new board if you don't want to go through finding the connectors.

Perfect! That's exactly what I needed. I can solder, but, I would rather eliminate that as an issue if I have to troubleshoot later.

I was just about to post that I also have the on/off switches too, both for the IR and airsoft.

I am new to thread. I think I have the same situation-bad main board. Is the MATO 8108R board stii available? If not I was also looking at the RX-18. I was under the impression that the remote control and receiver also needed to be replaced. Can anyone tell me what needs to be done? Back to the 8108 board, I think I have the problem isolated to the small
16(?) pin chip next to the receiver and light connectors. However there are no number on the chip-any help? Old man Wayne.

A little time back I wanted to alter the wiring on a Heng Long Tiger 1 and a Panzer 4, so I went on line and asking about plugs for these tanks this is what I got, http://www.ebay.co.uk/bhp/jst-xh-connector
I went to this site and found plugs to fit my tanks all prewired they are available in 2 pin, 3 pin all the way to 8 pin, they consist of a prewired plug a connector and another prewired plug, they all fit together so that now to remove the Turret of my Tanks I just undo the screws holding the turret ring and pull the plug apart, these plugs fit straight into the RX18 board. these come in packs of ten and the delivery was speedy and the product is very cheap. shaun
