Default How are Taigen MFU's fastened?

I have my cutting torch, grinders, and pry bars all primed and ready to go!

I will be replacing a couple of Taigen MFU's with Clark TK22's. How are the Taigen MFU's fastened and what is the removal procedure?

I don't own a Taigen, but chances are double sided tape.

Ok... I'll put the torch away...still hoping to be able to use the sledge hammer when I change out the transmissions on the KV-1 though!

Thanks!

Oh, you still can, and I recommend it. That KV-1 can handle anything

if you want a clean break, warm it up with a hair drier and the double sided tape will leave less residue. not hot, warm

Tamiya provides precut double side strips as part of the kit.

When I bought a bunch of RX-18s, they came in a bag all stuck together because the white sponge tape was on the backs of all of them.

The old HL RX 13 and 14 were mounted with screws, but since the RX 18, double sided tape has been the method.

Yes it is double sided tape. You can also use some carpet tape if you have some lying around, be aware it is much stronger.
