Default Source for 76mm divisional gun M1942 (ZiS-3) available in 1/16th or 1/18th scale?

I will have a couple of Taigen MFU's and transmitters collecting dust in the near future and not being one to waste my resources, I have been searching the internet for some anti-tank guns to equip with IR.

I have located a source for the German PaK 40 but I haven't found a source for this gun.

Does anyone have any leads?

Nothing really available in the way of allied AT guns. Some guys have used the Pak 40 carridge and scratched the gun and shield, or you could go the bazooka team route.

If my only choice is to build a German PaK front then I will be forced to purchase more Soviet armor in order to establish a breakthrough and a vicious cycle just might ensue!

Wow! Now that looks like a project, especially if one were to use this as a guide to build one from styrene! Evergreen just might get some money out of me.

Thanks!!!

Here is a link that has pictures of the build of that model - http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/a...ratchbuild.htm

The link that blimp uk provided is a free download provided by the designer that scratch built it.

Unbelievable!!!

Yea, the paper models are out there but they are a monster of time and patience to build. I have a couple of the Draf model german guns and haven't gotten into them. No directions, just a book
of paper parts to cut out. Like you mentioned though, possibly a great template to build something with styere.

Old thread but for those looking for templates to build then paper models are outstanding. Scan and enlarge to what ever scale you want then print as many times as you need.
By the way Pateros ZIS-3 is free downloadable PDF file if you want a look and builds very well.ZIS-3 (1-16) Patero.pdf

I might be nuts, but what about one of these?

That would have to score as a heavy, eh?

The dearth of artillery is why I've jumped at the opportunity in 1:10 scale as well.

Earlier this year I bought a 1:10 scale ZIS-3. not perfect but it's the best I've seen. Even has functional breech block- it may be raised and lowered.
The other in the photos are a semi scale 1:10 PaK 75 and a 1:10 scale 21cm nebelwerfer that I made but copied from an original model from Tomas Wittgrebe

The ZIS-3 has no brand. One of a kind. Made as an instructional model.

The PaK 75 was made by Thomas Wittgrebe about 17 years ago

The Nebelwerfer I made myself.
